First at all how told you life is fair? . A used car is a used car, I'm smart enough to know that if I want a car with no leaks the answer is at the BMW dealer waiting for me to pay $40k for a leake free car..

but I rather have my 14 year old car and If I had money to piss away I will get this too coz is the only JDM car that I like.

yes because spending 18k on a car you have to make more repairs to is real smart. in order to get top dollar for an older car, the car should be in tip top shape. why would i pay for a car that i have to repair some more? if i buy a used car it will be in the best condition it would be in. i dont care if its a tt q45 swap in a s13 chassis, if it has problems why waste my money?

maybe you like to throw away cash but i dont. its not impossible to find a leak free used car.

Man I would love to have this car. Beside the S-15 the S-14s have clean body lines. If it is still for sale in a couple months I'll see if i can pull it.

Dude you just described a utopia. You have to be realistic to understand what I'm trying to tell you.



When I saw this car fro the first time... I said that is one clean Nissan. Then when I looked under the hood I told Ivan that is one clean swap. Then I add a comment “I wished my turbo M3 looked like this”, Then latter that night I said..... that is one sick 240 is hella fast.



I does not matter what used car you buy, it will never be maintenance free. Quick example, if you buy a 1996 240 that has been garaged for all these years and it has maybe 20K miles on it, I guarantee you that the first month the fuel pump will go bad and a couple of bearings too; But if you buy a car like this where engine has been swap and most of the bugs had been worked out. You might have to change a part or two and be done.



If you want to find a used car that has no leaks or you wont have to invest money in it, you will be looking into buying a collector’s item; A car that has been overhauled from each bolt to each nut, and then you will end up paying over $28,000.



Or once again you can go to the nearest dealer and buy your self a 30K car that comes with a 5 year warranty. Oh and be slow as hell.... unless you buy an M5 or a carrera GT or something like that.


Shit even new cars brake a lot, if they didn’t they wouldn’t come with warranties.
