That's old dude from Canada. I talk to him on another forum all the time. I love it. It's got the MSP 03.5 front end conversion. I'd love to do a complete 2003.5 MSP Spicy Orange conversion but considering that they are discontinuing the production of certain parts, it's becoming increasingly expensive to do it. I love his car. His name is FunkyBudda. You post a pic of a modded Mazda, I am sure I've spoken to them on this other forum.

Pretty much. There's only roughly 550-590 left in existance out of the original 600. Some in worse condition than others. At least 3 of which I know are totaled from folks here in GA.

That can change. I'd like to stay around 15. 16 at the very most. tire size don't matter cause I can have spacers added or whatever and from the pic in my profile, I can drop still another 2 inches and raise another 4 inches or so. So, car won't be sitting like it is now.

Here is basic idea, the more I drive the car and think about it, the more I think about keeping it. If I keep it, my final goal is to hit a magazine with it. The H22 will have a forged bottom end, on boost. I'll finish what is left of the suspension. paint, carbon fiber, and redo the interior leather and suede. That's the basic idea of it. I am just trying to get ideas for different things. Was thinking like a BBS 3 piece wheel or something. Just not sure what would look good on the del sol body style.

bbs wheels could look real goold..depending on what color your gonna paint your car..i feel you on the whole fitment thing..i honestly dont know what rims would look good on a del sol till i see it..ima try to do some research...whenever you paint it..what color do you plan on doin?

i was thinkin.it would look good if you got 15' black with a polished lip..a nice offset..it would play off real well with the carbon fiber..and throw some nice anodized red lugs to set off the wheels...plat with the suspension height maybe throw some spacers..and then you got a party

Probably EBP as the final paint job, or a gun metal to come close to the carbon fiber. I am not a big fan of black with a polished lip. Don't look bad, just everyone has it. sucks, cause everyone already has everything. lol. Hard to be close to original.

Thays why you paint then... Do a gun metal gray paint.. With a some pearl in there...throw some really small dark blue metallic flakes..
Get some black rims with the polish lip...paint the lip a metallic blue.. Throw some blue work lugs.. Plus the cf
    That shit would look clean...

I do. I've told Motivation before that I have a soft spot for Del Sol's too. Pretty sure it was him. In either case, I love Del Sol's. They weren't very fast stock but they're a pretty cool little car. Convertible that handles like a go-cart. Where have I heard that before? Oh right... the Miata. A car they actually STILL MAKE.

Suprisingly. I mean, this many years of pure failure... But... I guess Ford... I mean Mazda is determined to try to make SOMETHING that is worth something.

Just perused Google for some nice Miata's that actually see track time.

How about a special treat... a V8 Miata.

Now let's see how many Racing Del Sol's I can find.

That's about the only one I can find.

Just for grins... look at this heap of a Del Sol.

whoa whoa whoa... I am not a Honda boy... Don't cuss at me like that. lol. I just own one..

But, on the other hand, I don't mind taking turns with along side (or in front ) a Mazda or going a straight line.

But, I will come take my turn tomorrow, I am crashing for the night, now.

Y'all take it easy in here.

When you return, please tell me what ride you'd love to have v. the Del Slo. I'd love to know.

I'm not a Mazda fanboy but I definitely think Mazda's are underrated and underappreciated. The Mazdaspeed 3 won MANY comparo's with even it's AWD and RWD brethren. Yet, it's probably the least purchased "sport wagon" or under 25K sport car.

You have control over the actions you take though. You control your anger/hurt/other emotions. Don't let them over come you. (the reason I say this is, I lost my dad when I was younger. Suicide. It almost drove me to following his act. Kids were cruel and made fun of me that he did it.) But no matter what, stay strong, be there for your family, and like I tell everyone... Always make sure you're able to tell that person "I love you" that one last time, which God FORBID it be the last time. You know what I mean. If you need anything, lmk.

I'm with Motivation. Life is cruel but you gotta know there is definitely something better awaiting us (at least I know that). I also agree you gotta let them know you love them as much as you can cause you never know.

This might come off as a little homo but don't be afraid to cry or let your emotions show. Bottling that shit up only makes it harder to swallow.

You got friends here that will do practically anything if you need it man. Remember that.

Prayers are with you and yours bro.

I'm gonna be straight up, dale. When being there for someone, even a guy being there for a guy, there is nothing homo about it. Hell, I've wrapped my arm around a guy after losing his mom and told him I loved him and that if he needed anything at all that all he had to do was ask.

I know you weren't saying anything. That statement was general and not towards you. And you are right, there is something better waiting for us. Where there is no suffering, pain, tears, or anything else. Not sure of your beliefs, but a song that always helps me is "God only cries". Just makes me reassured that my loved ones are never hurting.

But I will pray that God will give wisdom to the doctors and have his will in whatever is going on. Be strong, Jay. And crying if you feel the need to is NOT a sign of weakness. let us know and please keep us updated.

Don't apologize. No need for it. I can tell that Top Notch is like a family to you and they are all here for you if you ever needed anything. There is one thing to be strong for your family and another thing to keep everything bottled inside. Just remember, you haven't done anything wrong, showing emotion isn't wrong, there is NO need for apologies.
