Dude, sad to say it but the Del Sol was my first car crush. I wanted one so bad when I was in middle school. Then I got to high school and got into chicks and such and it was at that point I just wanted a cool car, didn't want a Honda. However, I ended up with a shitty Toyota Camry ('89) and my car obsession was at it's lowest. Then, a few years back I bought my first 5 speed car, a 94 Mazda Protege. Kartboy SS and PRM intake. I was in love again.
I still have a soft spot for the Del Slo.

Actually it's not too bad. Loud as shit and it shakes EVERYthing inside the car. Literally, letting it coast down from high RPM's is almost worse than gunning it into a high RPM.drive with a respirator

That's right. Anyone who cares to read this, Tyler is the one who fucked my exhaust up. Sure, he did what he said he'd do. However, seeing as it didn't last but a few months without falling off, I'd say it's shitty work. Top that off with the fact he wants to charge me for fixing his error... I'm not sure I'll ask him to do much else.

Yea my mitsu is that way if it isn't the tranny it's the breathng or alternator belt..... I love it tho... Every true car love knows no mater how crapy car maybe to others it's ur car if u love it an know it fuck other people. I get joked on cause my Car idk it's best sleeper out their fuck them haters

Yeah, I definitely understand ya there, man. I honestly never really liked Del Sols until I got t his one and drove it. Actually, only reason I did buy it was can I wanted a quick car, and I paid the same price for everything as the guy did for the motor and transmission in it alone. So, was more of an investment.... It's a fun car for sure, straight lines and curves. But, like you said, I don't want a honda. Nothing against them, just not me. But yeah, no matter what car you have, if you like it, that is all that matters.
I got made fun of my dsm, just cause of the reliabilty issues that they were known for. But in person, everyone loved the car. Even old guys in new Vettes gave it thumbs up when they heard it cam. but... I spent a lot of money on the car and something as simple as the timing belt breaking four days after I replaced it, destroyed the motor... Getting rid of it Saturday for cheap and just cutting my losses. And props, for even if people talk about your car, you realize that it is YOUR car. Not theirs. Their opinions hold no weight.

Even tho it's 2.4l 150 stock after mods 180+ with boooost 200+ with out tuning. I fell u my timing belt broke 5 days after I bought the car was still stock maybe it was a good thing for me tho o ended up boring the heaad an getting mitsu racing pistons and cam so I think it worked out.... morning!! hope everyone has a great short and sweet week at work. ya.update on the car: was supposed to have it back last monday but these ppl are idiots. they were actually gonna replace one OUT of FOUR yellow konis with an oem shock. wtf! so i argued that. now they found out the strut plate is bad..mazdas have these!! my steering pin (can u believe that shit is 900$) is BAD rear left hub bad camber link BAD and they have to redo the 4 wheel alignment because the dumbasses didnt realize my left rear hub was bad.so theyve been driving my car around with a bad hub. wtf! im SUPPOSED to get it back today but im not getting my hopes up.

He did parts of the aero kit for that RX-7. He's currently building a pretty sick looking RX-7 project car. He's doing a complete rollcage for it. I fully plan on inviting him to some of our gatherings.
