    Dude... you don't need a nice camera to take good shots. Hell, any decent point-n-shoot can take nice pics. When I was at Disney World a couple weekends back, I took some real artistic pictures. My camera is an 89 dollar Olympus 12.0 mp p-n-s. Plus, with all the photoeditors out there... it's too easy. I mean, hell, the pic from my sig was taken with my camera.

    Well if you're not talented then yes, it's difficult to get good pics with PnS's. There are MANY reasons why a p-n-s is so much better.

    1. Compact and can be stored in a glovebox and whipped out at a moments notice. Versus an expensive DSLR that requires a bag to carry and the worry that someone might crack a windshield and snag it.

    2. P-n-S's are getting better in MP and lenses.

    3. Tripods aren't a necessity to take good pics.

    None of the pics i posted were shot on a tripod, none of them edited in any way, and my DSLR will fit in my glove box

    I shot a few pics on darrens and erikas tripod and honstley didnt like it... i dk, just me i guess..

    Both have there advantages, i can take some pretty nice shots with a pns also, but saying that a dslr and pns are the same in crazy talk.
