Bugman, I saw you post about "45 min from Athens." Do you ever come down to Eatonton to race? It seems like every time I go over there 90% of the legit cars running ar Mustangs. There are always some very fast cars down there regularly on Thursday nights. I have a car lot right out by the lake just in Baldwin County. I go by the Headhunter every day to and from work. Let me know if you ever head down this way.
Yeah lol I was there when he dyno'd it, I helped him at the dyno. Ed the dyno guy liked the car a lot better as a nitrous car.
First, a coil is not a coil. If you have a 7 or 8 series ignition box, then you have to run an hvc coil, and it can't be used with any lesser ignition. Second, my car has full interior, even still has the heater box in it. Very far from "gutted". And yes, I can run pump gas if I want, but I don't spray on pump gas, for obvious reasons. Yeah we do but not on Thursday nights. Remember my drivers are my wife, daughter and son so the atmosphere and crowd is not any place that I care to have them. Me and my son do go to watch a good bit but we only race on Sundays there.

Unfortunately my passion for all things automotive have not yet rubbed off on her! lol. I keep trying to get her to at least try to give it a shot and that she'll probably like it but she refuses. I have not planned to be out this weekend, but I have been wanting to go to a Sunday race. I've only been to Thursday nights, as a spectator and someone who just wants to make a few passes it seems to be the most fun. I know last night I passed quite a few notches that if looks had anything to do with it were fast cars. My uncle has an 81 El Camino with a 383 that we go out with sometimes. I may try to make it down this sunday if you're going to be around and I know I'll have somebody to hang around with.

I think it was a brown color car right? I thought I was going to knock the shit out of him a couple times, it pulled so hard on him. The truck had a 3:07 gear in the stock rear end then, it would have been hell against these guys from a roll. It would do 150 mph no problem.
