Looking for a skreet race

Yeah, I should have realized by your posts that you're not the hardcore go out and drop 5,000 on a street race type. . I took my girlfriend with me ONCE because she insisted. My uncle and cousin where there with me and I told her that she had better not leave their side while I was in my car. lol. Why tempt fate? Most folks down there are decent folks who are just out to bring a street race environment to a place where they don't have to worry about the cops and can get a time slip to boot. However, it can get rowdy in a hurry. I keep telling all the big talker guys that want to run for so much money to just make a trip down there, they will find plenty of folks ready to run for just about any amount.

Oh without a doubt and I know a lot of them. Rob H. did a few of my cages and also built a few of the cars that frequent there. The most I have ever bet was $2,500 and I only did that backing a friend and still didn't like it very much. I am sure we know a lot of the same people in the same crowds. So you gonna be around this weekend?

Unfortunately my passion for all things automotive have not yet rubbed off on her! lol. I keep trying to get her to at least try to give it a shot and that she'll probably like it but she refuses. I have not planned to be out this weekend, but I have been wanting to go to a Sunday race. I've only been to Thursday nights, as a spectator and someone who just wants to make a few passes it seems to be the most fun. I know last night I passed quite a few notches that if looks had anything to do with it were fast cars. My uncle has an 81 El Camino with a 383 that we go out with sometimes. I may try to make it down this sunday if you're going to be around and I know I'll have somebody to hang around with.
