Are ya thinking of running meth. Or maybe stroking the motor for quicker spool up.

550whp? Is that possible? meaning, do you really think that car was putting out that much? Is your car running 350whp+? Since your car is light, I would assume with at least 350-450 whp it would be similiar to a cobra with that much power.

Mark, a GT30 eh? Are all the GT turbo's ball bearing? Anyone else you know have a GT series turbo without the BB. I have a half GT turbo (compressor only standard t3 garrett wheel).

Anyway, that was Rick that ran him, not Jeff (the guy in this video). It gets confusing with all the black Mustangs heh
Do any of the black mustangs like to run from a stop?
Id like to try out that z06 one day soon also.
I should have my 240 back soon also, maybe I should get-up with this one that ran nyteryder also. It may be a couple weeks for that, though.

It may be a little while before I run from a stop. The 03 Cobras have an IRS which without some build-up, doesn't like to dig race and will break the halfshafts with the quickness. I'm going to retain the IRS, so Level 5 Halfshafts, all necessary bushings along with the IRS Brace will go on soon. I'll post up when I'm ready to run from digs.

    Nice cobra man, sounds sick

i remember sometime last year getting my ass reeled by a cobra, he ran an 11.7 on street tires and ate me up for breakfast, it was silver/gunmetal in color over here in the alphretta area.

I like cobra mustangs but the SVT cobra R has to be my favorite stang of them all.

That's me in the video. I'm spinning like a motherfucker on DR's from the first race all through 2nd, and then in both races I slept through 2-3 pretty bad. Excuses, heh. I was reeling him in though.

Point is: he won 1, I won 1. I'd bet he gets me pretty bad if we race when he's 100%.

Cool, his 240 is probably a little faster than mine, when he's running right. We'll just have to see.

That was a great learning experience. I'll have to heat the rears up if I race below a 50 roll.

Good runs, can't wait to see this run again especially when the 240 is up to par. I like daytime footage alot more than night time!

Ditto, but I feel a lot safer (popo-wise) running at night. Plus it's usually cooler out, heh.

The daytime footage is the best, cause you can really see what's going on. Nighttime always blurry and sometime your not sure who leading, who won. Yes your right about the po-po definately less @ night. Good run for both of you guys and keep it friendly.

When Lankhoss and I ran the 600RR I was ~516/506tq I assume I'm still around there even with one cylinder at 92% leakdown, it's just burning some oil, going to get it checked out soon, probably pull the head off and see if it's valves or a damaged ring.

Anyways, the dyno #'s in my sig are just for decoration so I can look all fast 'n furious, click the link for my real #'s,

That 600RR is fast, he pulled out ~2 bikes, maybe more from 65-105, then I "missed" 4th because I don't think the clutch fully disengaged.

I looked up the stats for the '05 CBR600RR and it's a 133 MPH trap with a pro rider,

Daytime racing is nice for camera work. What I don't like about daytime racing, is there is usually more traffic out. My #1 concern is not interferring with, or endangering OTHER people when I feel like doing childish feces on the highway. If I lose control and spin my car out of control at 100+ mph and kill myself, so be it. But other people shouldn't be hurt or get killed when I do it.

Sorta like the upside down Viper in the ditch. No one else got hurt in that fiasco ;-)

(ok, that's a terrible analogy....and I'm totally kidding. That REALLY sucked, and I feel terrible for the guy)

We usually don't plan these things out. We just decide to go out cruising at the last minute....and sometimes come across people like this. There have been a few times we've actually planned races between ourselves (late at night), but other than that, it's usually pretty spontaneous.
