On a serious/professional note... it seems that not just a couple but quite a few ppl who were neutral to the whole pro/hate BG factions have now lost so much respect for BG after this event that many of them have crossed into the hate-BG faction. I guess actions speak louder than words...

On a second serious note... a lot of people legally carry firearms... quite a few Speedmonkey / Phatboy & IA members in general carry firearms frequently, legally. I'm sure everyone's read Ruiner's advice on the new bill allowing civilians to draw and fire upon someone if they see them as a threat to harm themselves or another in public. I'm not saying anyone would have shot someone at the Varsity... but the possibility of it happening isn't exactly low either.
