Whats wrong with being a middle aged kid? I enjoy it.
I got no problem throwing radials on my shit and driving it around all night but I could never convince you that my shit is street car. It has a cage. It has a Glide with a trans-brake. There is no heat or AC. No power steering. No cruise control. It runs on C16. I buy the fuel and if I wanna spend two or three hundred bucks to cruise around on a Saturday night, thats my problem. You see, apparently driving a car around on the street does not make it a street car these days. At what point are people gonna start saying shit like "if it doesnt get at least 30 MPG, its not a street car"? Obviously a cage disqualifies me even though it is required at any track that is worth going to. My auto trans disqualifies me even though over half the cars produced come with auto trans. Some say anyone can go fast with an auto. Just floor it. Those are the guys that think they are clutch car heroes. Typically those clowns are the ones that will only race from a roll because, in their words "my shit wont hook up". I say show me them skills and get that pig moving from a dig or STFU about your driving skills. It doesnt matter if I fired my shit up and drove to Daytona Beach and back. It will always be a RACE car to some of you guys. I'm damned if I do and damned if I dont. I could say your car should be fast as fuck, you spoent enough money on it. And you might tell me its not your problem that I didnt spend enough money. And you would be right. But at the same time, its not my fault you are racing with a manual trans in a 3,000 pound car with low profile 20 inch tires. I hope you motherfuckers can get together and make this happen. I would love to see the video. But I cant set around in a parking all night being called a bully or a pussy for trying to race a street car with a race car. Even though we are talking about racing them and I did drive my shit up there. Good Luck to all.
