    Does anyone's car ACTUALLY run??????????

All I ever read is "here in a couple weeks when I put air in my tire, then it's on!"

I just don't ever see people be like "Hey, I wanna race <whoever>" then <whoever> responds with "Yes, I will just drive my car out there and then push the gas to the floor for a few seconds while you do the same"

It's always way more fucking complicated than that.

Fucking, ALWAYS - I agree, Jesus H. Christ in a chicken basket, seems that there's always something that needs to be tweaked or fixed before the run can be conducted, just wait until you have fixed whatever needs fixing and THEN make the call out.

Do not EVER make callouts until both vehicles are operating at 100% - no one's car is ever on schedule for getting fixed, so it's always pointless to setup any kind of a race before it can be confirmed that the vehicle is actually running at 100%.

The street dyno professor says that following the above protocol is really very simple, it's VERY simple.
