So Buschur and AMS were making 800whp in June of 2004? Really? I can call Martin to confirm this, but I would like to see some posts from EVOM to say otherwise. Furthermore, the record BACK THEN with a 35R, not the HTA version, but a REAL 35R was like 650whp, and that's what BG was running. The 67mm turbo went on the car right before they sold it, and Dan never really put the car through the ringer for that very reason...it was for sale. That motor never saw much more than 30psi, as opposed to the 40psi other people run. Also, 560whp wasn't impressive for stock block back then? What was the record back then? Actually, did you even OWN an evo back then? Just curious.. Please enlighten me since you seem to be some sort of expert. Here's a thread DIRECTLY from EVOM from like 2 months ago (let alone 4-5yrs ago) talking about stock blocks and what people are making and what is generally considered MAX power for the stock block. In fact, there's an entire 22+page thread dedicated to people who have made 500+whp on stock blocks. The thread started in 2006, so you're trying to tell me that in late 2004, what BG did "aint shit". That's laughable. It's easy to say it's nothing now, but back then, it was a big deal. I made 600+whp with my DSM back in the day, and everyone was in awe, but now it's nothing, so that takes away from the feat itself? You've got some flawed logic.

Also, just FYI, back then, FYI, 440whp was not only a great record back then, but was the subject to a huge debate about whether it was even POSSIBLE. Do your research about the history of how things unfolded. There were a lot of things back then that people said "weren't possible", but have become the norm these days.
Just for reference, here is a thread from February of 2005 where people are "ooohing and ahhhing" over what everyone now would consider entry level shit.
