Actually, that's not true. The North American 2.2L/2.4L all came with a plastic intake manifold. The Saab based 2.0L has never seen a plastic manifold. Not even on the turbo Saabs do they share a plastic IM. GM isn't that dumb for running a plastic manifold on a turbo car. They never have.
