His mods are:347cid, Wiseco pistons, Futral F13 cam, LS6 intake, 42lb injectors, LS6 heads, 12:1 compression, BBK throttle body, TH350 with 3200 stall, 3.42 rear gear, 26 inch MT drag radials, draglites.

On a not so good tune he made 379/341. On the day of the race he had changed the tune and he said it was running better.

Vortech S/C 8.5psi, plenum spacer, test pipes, exhaust and a walbro 255lph pump for go fast goodies. I have a meth kit, but not using it due to no way to tune, YET!.

Nice. Ive got an 04 G35 and I want to get a Vortech setup once I pay off some bills. You should look at Forged Performance when you decide to get it tuned. Sharif is a VQ God. Do you know what kind of numbers you put down as of now?

The tune is great on the car.... The stall is making his numbers lower than what they really are. The car should be over 400rwhp with the new tune. From what i have seen most ls1 cars lose 20rwhp after a stall on the dyno. Dyno numbers are just that, just numbers. You can tune for a high number and then hit the street and it starts pulling timing.

i didn't see a "real" winner. i saw the SS let off (still right beside you). what mph did you run him to? quick car.

that run we got up to about 120.. We did another run to about 140 and i was slowly creeping in front.....

The numbers i stated was on the bad tune.....On a not so good tune he made 379/341..

He has not re-dynoed with the race gas and new tune. He was at the track that day doing logged runs and watching the timing. At the beginning of the day he started out at 12.5@113... at the end of the day he was at 12.2@114.. This was in 100 degree weather and 8X% humidity. His car will make more than 400rwhp on the next dyno.

something is wrong with that car or he has no where near the mods you have listed for him. My g/f's A4 WS6 with only lid-headers-cat back makes 356/360 unlocked and on 18" chrome wheels runs 12.8's @110. With stall it will run mid-low 12's easy. Who did the work b/c that may also be the problem.

My T/A with headers-cam(smaller than the F13)-stock untouched heads made 422/400 and ran better et and mph than the car in the video. I think he needs to give Matt a call and get his car to actually run.

Hell my car made 409 with cam ported heads and a ls6 intake and ran a 7.0 with a 2.0 60ft cause the clutch woulnd hold. Something isnt right about his car.

BTW my car ran a 12.6 on street tires with long tubes and a gear. When it was stock.

The mod list was from him on another site. He has talked to other people about his setup.. His tune is good now( changed it after his first dyno). They told him to get rid of the stall and go bigger. Also told him to ditch the 3.42's and go with 3.73's. The th350 in that car is nothing like the 4l60e or the t56 that came stock in those cars. Takes alittle more to get that car moving with that tranny.

Looked into it and I still say that you should lose that race everytime. That has to be one of the weakest running modded LS1's I've ever seen. I mean seriously your car might run a 14.0 stock so to knock 2 full seconds off the ET and run a 12.00 you have to be heavily modded. I personaly have yet to see it at the track. But hey anything can happen on the street.

the S/C'ed Z is not running right in these videos ( as you can tell when it gets pulled like crazy by the Turbonetics turbo Z (also @ 8psi) and the heads/cam camaro.

@ the time of this video.. ALL 350z's were on bolt on turbo kits only.. no tunes.. nothing.. if you pay attention to the purple turbonetics Z.. you can see its still on stock exhaust lol.. and pulls the head/cam camaro slightly.

none of these Z's made over 400whp. all vary from 345whp-400whp.. all known 350z owners in the Z community.

Yes this video is a great example of what I'm talking about the blue heads and cam car kills the boosted Z while the Boosted Z's can only hang with bolt on LS1's and still loses to a cammed LS1 from a highway roll were the TT car should be hard to beat. I'm not trying to be an ass but 350Z<LSX cars from the factory or mod for mod.

It's funny how you can do something that cars with the same mods as you can't do in the video posted above. And a 12.1 is the #1 slot and 350Z.com with a power adder? That's just funny check this out from LS1tech.com. Now is this the norm on a Friday night at the local drags no because these cars have weight reductions and great 60fts but still. As for mods these cars are all suspension, weight reduction and bolt ons including a cam but no heads bigger cubic inches etc... Anything can happen on the street but I think just the guys on here with LSX modded cars would tighten you up pretty good. Check out some of the race videos and the stats below.
