Now just to give ya'll the details on this beater race, I can assure you it's not gonna be on the streets. Honestly, as slow as some of the supposed beaters are, they won't be getting away from any cop car anytime soon. Hell, it might break down. I own a Ford, and that's a high possibility. No, but seriously, I thought some of ya'll would catch the clue when superboost said he's hoping for 18's. Which means TRACK ONLY ! Supposedly, AMS bought the airport space next door and is turning that into a 1/4 mile track. My understanding of AMS doing the Friday night drags is basicly testing to see how big of a crowd will attend by testing on pit row. Apparently, there's a huge crowd and will be real successful. I've been hearing of that for some months now. If and when it does open, I will wipe my ass all over ya'll with furious fat 5.slow ford truck, hands down. So here's hoping it will open for the summer.
