the older ones are faster in the 1/4 because the new motor has no power down low so it losses some time in first gear. power doesnt hit till about 9k then it screams. but below that it would lose to a moped

well when we ran i love boost rafa and i were both on pump gas so both cars still have more power left in them! heheh i think thats what he was reffering to on this call out was his race gas mapAm i missing something

from what I ran on the track
if people can remember when I kept on racing my friend with the maxima down south.
I kept on beating him by a couple of tenths of a second
I actually took most of the stuff out of his trunk witch probably weighed like 50lb just to see if he could get a better time
and after that he was beating me by about the same
ofcourse that depends on power to weight ratio too, so its different for different cars
and when it comes to HP and car lengths
I only have like 30hp over stock. and I will rape a stock 240
but that's because when it comes to that, it's percentage wise. 30hp more then the 130hp stock is a big difference.
but 30hp more then 400hp is a very small difference
for example: Lankhoss and 198 plus, their cars differ by about 30hp, and if they ran it wouldn't be the same as me running a stock 240. and I know what the difference between them two would be

Considering what I said before about the price of that particular turbo kit and the power it makes relative to a bottlefed cam only C6 was a great comparison as both cars are over $50k from the dealer. Although the M is in a smaller liter class doesnt mean anything to me. I love the M's for their looks and handling but they lack power stock to stock for the dollar. Why pay $5X for an M3 when I can have a C6 for the same if not lesser price. All this has nothing to do what b0ki and I have been talking about but since you brought it up I figured I would enlighten you.
Big props to the M3 guys that make that kind of power from a 3.2ltr...
We are only 12hrs away from seeing was a cam only C6 can do against a BIG bottlefed M3. Then again b0ki said all he needed was a 100 shot to take me down.
Be sure to bring a wrench someone so we can valdiate your jet's to what you verbally claim. Hate for you to have to sneak those 250hp jets in there and say they are 100hp jets just so you can ensure you beat my poor lil Vette.

When Boris ran Marshall, he had about a 130 shot (180 running @ 10.6 AFR is barely 130 on a n/a car) and he started pulling until he fouled his plugs.
So what power-adder will Marshall be running? He will need some higher flow heads and a more aggressive cam to stand a chance. Maybe he has already had that done since he ran Boris? Or maybe he has gone to GREAT lengths to hide his nitrous (maybe a inside-the-manifold set-up?)
If he has the same set-up as when he ran Boris that night, then I'll throw in another $200.

I'm not arguing which $50k car has more potential; it's obviously the C6 Vette. For $16k in mods, a C6 Vette can have a built motor AND make over 900whp. Nothing I haven't seen with the LS motors, I've been thinking of using them in several different cars myself because they are compact, lightweight, and not very expensive to build, not to mention they have high HP potential due to their capacity.
So you want him to bring tools so you can check his jets?

I didn't bother reading through ALL the posts. Apparently you saw how his car ran with ~130 shot, and now are feeling ever-so-confident if he runs a 100 shot. Whatever........I should have read all the posts.
First off how am I "suddenly" becoming confident when Boris said this on page 5 and we are now on page 12 or something like that.
Based on the tone of your post above seems Boris put his foot in his mouth with the the "100 shot should be enough comment." Regardless we all know, and from someone who has had a bottle fed car before knows, you always say you have this when in reality you have at least another 50 on top of that.
Also just so you know I just got back from Autozone and Adv Auto and neither has anymore NOS in a bottle octane booster so I will be running on my old setup like last race.
I also love how techincally inclined you are to know that he was running a 130 shot when it was jetted to be a 180 based on the AFR. We all know 180hp jetting doesnt necessarily give you 180 to the tire.
My old Z was 25hp under the jetting I had it set to and that was with a perfect AFR.

As everyone knows from the last runs with Josh and Greg a few weeks ago my clutch pedal sticks to the floor during hard runs. Thats fine this will NOT be my excuse if I lose. Your motor mounts are beat from what you say so this will not be your excuse if you were to lose.
