    Default Windows Keystrokes

So.... yeah... call me corny but this sorta stemmed from someone making a thread referring to the "busy server" and his excessive pressing of F5 to refresh the page and surprisingly a lot of folks didnt know about that.

So yeah... umm... im pretty keystroke savvy. are there any strokes that you guys use on a regular or not so regular that you'd like to share?

Alt+tab is my most often used. I used to use backspace to go back a page, but now my mouse has built in buttons on each side to go forwards or backwards a page. Lol

    Bozzio for president.

Ctrl + Shift + Escape to access task manager

Ctrl + Esc to display start menu without hitting the windows button (for old school keyboards)

Windows Logo + D to minimize all windows and show the desktop

Windows Logo + Break to display system properties.

Windows Logo + R for the run utility.

Those are all I can think of off hand. I use quite a bit since I'm in the IT Biz

if you are using windows vista.

You should have quick start icons right beside your start menu button.

    Hit:
windows key + 1 to start the first one
windows key + 2 to start the second one
windows key + 3 to start the third one
    ...etc.

    also.

Hit Ctrl + Shift + Esc to bring up the task manager.
(can do it with one hand)
Alternate to Ctrl + Alt + Del.
