8 years ago I used to get excited to see members sign up everyday on Importatlanta.com. The 1st year of importatlanta.com , I wont lie, it was probably the closest IA.com has ever been due to us not having members..

Not many from 2001 are still around, but some are still on...

In 2001 a married couple joined Importatlanta.com and had a car club called Civic Minded...

At the time, Some of us thought, this couple are weird.. why did we say that? Well, At that time we didnt have many members past the age of 25, we were all basiclly, Young kids who just hit our 20's...

Anyways, During that year, I had the honor of meeting Brett and Leisa.. these guys were really cool I thought.. They loved cars So we all down.. is like they came out of no where...

Month and month.. They became like the King and queen post of whores of IA.. they always had more post then anyone on IA.. they made the the whoreslounge popular back in the early ages.. Both making funny post at all times of the days..

Brett and Leisa, every meet, event.. anything that involved IA..or cars..they were there... The couple... I can count in hand I saw Brett alone...

We became really good friends.... IA.com has been my life since 2000... They have been there since 2001... They were part of IA success... They are IA..




Today, Leisa Lowenthal passed away... A great friend... I know I havent said much about the situation... But everyday I thought about it.. and talked with personal friends about it.. I even told my parents about it and friends who have nothing to do with Importatlanta

Leisa was a great person who from what i could see was Always happy... if there was a sad in her in life.. I never saw it... her "witty" Comments in person would always make me laugh.

I Thanks Brett and Leisa for being part of my life over the 7 years...

I had the honor to hang out with these guys at plenty of shows, partys...

But I also been out with them when It was just them..

She was a great person.... who will def be missed... but def not forgotten..

Brett, I have been reading brother.. you know I got your back no matter what.. I admire your strengh and character.. Please keep your head up man..

Leisa is now in a better place... I'm sure she will be watching....

I will be honest, I know is hard to stay positive at times like this...but dont forget you have the support of 1000's.

You guys made the age 30 look "HIP" ..

A few years ago I used to say, **** I want to be like brett and leisa.. **** in there 30's and they are a fun couple.. Bonnie and clyde...

Well, today is my b-day.( only close friends knew that). I turned 30.. I still want to be like you and Leisa...Keep ya head up bro..
