    Default gsr/itr

    ok i know a gsr is a b18c1 and a type r is b18c5 but what i want to know is will it say the number or what cause i 've seen them just say b18c no 1 or 5?
    92 DA9 with a b20 on 8lbs daily
    DALLAS 8-4 1st in the nfc east

    ill take a pic of it tomorrow but my brother in law just purchase a warehouse from a really old guy and in there was a 95 ex with that motor the guy said to keep it so it mine just registered it now it needs a new wiring harness and ecu but it says b18c also got a compression test all were at 9

    have to look at the head

    they are stamped

    also look at the oil pan they are stamped also

    compression check also will tell

    p72 gsr
    p75 type r

    Both Type-R and SiR-G have the B18c code.

    The intake manifold and valve cover would imply it's a B18c Type-R but would have to looking at the stampings to know for sure. The transmission will have LSD painted/stamped on top if it's a Type-R. I'll trade you a '01 GS-R transmission for it if it is!
