$220 for a grinding b16 tranny is pretty cheap. IMO the Mainshaft bearing is not his problem (although he may have lied about it just grinding again you cant prove it). The problem is $220 for a B16 transmission is cheap, its incredibly expensive for a grinding LS tranny. I wouldnt have paid more than $100 for a trans like that. So $50 is a very reasonable amount for him to compensate you.

But hes prob like every other broke kid on here and would rather stiff someone and go about his business than just do whats right to make you happy.

Exactly. I thought I was getting a good deal on a b16 transmission, and thought the 3rd and 4th synchros would need to be replaced which is why he was selling it for cheap.

And yes, $220 is expensive for an LS tranny (I've seen them go for $150 recently) AND mine had a bad bearing.

Like I told him the guy that sold me the tranny told me it was a b16 tranny the guy is a Acura Tech.So when he contacted me I was pretty hesitate about what he was saying seeing I sold him the tranny a while back.Then when he told me the input shaft bearing was bad and it was a ls I told him I didnt know it was a ls tranny because when I received the tranny I was told it was a b16 tranny that had a grind in third gear.

Well He left it @ offering me $25. I told him the least I would take is $50 or i was gonna make a thread, and he said $25 is all he's offering.

So I made this thread, not sure how things are going to work out. I really just want to inform people about it.

Like I said how could I help you but threaten me isnt going to get you anywhere when I could have just said fuck it he bought the tranny and didnt inspect it.I would have had no problem letting you take it apart.But instead I was meet up by your pops again.Like I said I was trying to help you considering I work at parts store if you would have told me the bearing was bad I could have got you a new one.Instead of you fixing the tranny if I had a problem with a tranny I wouldnt hit someone up after I fixed the problem I would let them know soon as I encountered the problem.Instead of repairing the problem then trying to tell the person who sold me the tranny you need to pay for 50$ for a used input shaft bearing my dad had laying around.Now if you would have told me hey man the tranny isnt a ls and the bearing was bad instead of telling me Hey BLAHBLAH BLAH I fixed the tranny instead of hitting you up when I ran into the problem.So how does that look to me I dont know if its the same tranny if it ever was broken.Or if it is or isnt a b16 tranny Like I said I was trying to help you but the way you came at me in your last messege was allllllll fucking wrong.Why would I screw you over and continue to talk to you after I sold you the tranny we sent messeges back and forth and I figured the tranny was straight seeing you didnt say anything about it when we were talking about your build.Well I wouldnt mind resolving this fuck what other people say people that really deal with me like Jermaine now.Seeing I drove 2 hours to take a jumper harness up north for him after he didnt wanna buy the part until he got someone elses ok on it.Long ass drive Jermaine!THink I lost money on that one but its all good people can think what they wanna think.
