    $1300 because it had bad rings, and had a ton of missing parts.

    Id say thats fair market value for a gsr swap that needs re reringed. But for one that needs a new crankshaft, rods etc its definitely too high.

    regardless of what I paid for it, the fact is he lied to me. there is NO WAY in hell that that motor would have ran without knocking. I could move the big end of the rod around the crankshaft and hear it clicking around.

    1300 for a complete swap is like market value. no deal there ive bought them for 1200-1400.

    there is 1 thing i have learned around here never buy major parts from anybody who has less than 1000 posts, great rep, who hasnt been here steady for a year. anything less than that ill spend my money else where. most times.

    ill bet there is a single good piece to that swap. what until u get the tranny an find out it grinds pop or flat out doesnt shift.
