One thing another forum i go to does is require all people selling to have a hand written or typed sign with their username, date (needs to be same date as thread was created), and forum web address printed on it. The sign would need to be in all pics posted in the FS thread. I honestly think that would be something good to do here. They also will not accept photos if the

Well, Def. got fucked...But the problem is he did drop the ball when he didn't inspect the wheels head to toe multiple times. He wasn't buying Rotas here, He def. should have taken a GOOD long look at them before any money changed hands. I did look the wheels over in the front door light of the gas station. Only from certain angles can you see the spider cracks in the paint. Yes paint chipping is normal but do hubcentric rings come painted too? I don't think so. Whoever painted them used junk paint that cracked and didn't even take the time to remove the ring from the center of the wheel before shooting paint. I don't mind the rust on the back of the wheels, it is normal. I don't care about the tire either I was just posting as much information this thread as possible. It is printed very clearly in his FS thread that one tire is bad. He sold the WHEELS as if they were 100% good to roll. Didn't report or point out any damage.
Why did he go through the trouble of blocking my number with his phone service provider? Why does he refuse to answer my calls, text and pm's? Why did he tell a Mod or Admin that he was working things out with me when I haven't contacted him since the night I bought the wheels? He is a lier and he knows exactly what he's done. I've had numbers of pm's from his friends giving me information about him I haven't asked for. They must know what kind of person he is too. I will ask him kindly to refund my money one more time today and if he chooses not too I will take him to court and have the law make him give it back. I have all the time in the world to do this. I can request off whenever I like.

Fact of the matter is the situation is shitty, without a doubt, however, it is not the seller's responsibility to inform the buyer of any and every imperfection...Morally and ethically, in a perfect world, this would happen more often than not but reality is, not everyone is going to comport themselves in that manner....The buyer, having the most to lose in situations such as these, should take every precaution available to them to ensure that they are getting the most for their money. To the OP, no harm intended but this transaction should hopefully serve as a lesson towards any future purchases.

I know you're pissed and I understand why however, you should take accountability for your end of this deal.
Additionally, just because someone has an opinion that differs from your own, it is not indicative of any ties to the seller.
This is what just went down..
Look man, I'm sorry that the wheels are "too damaged to ride on", but I do not feel that this is the appropriate step to take. If I recall correctly it was YOU who asked me to meet you that night and I went through the trouble of driving one hour to meet you. You spent 10-15 minutes carefully looking over each wheel before talking me down $100 over some slight damages. It was at this point that you and I struck a deal calling everything square. My TWO witneeses saw and will testify to this; not to mention YOU'RE witness never stepped foot out of the passenger seat, also she was on the phone the whole time. My original pictures for the ad were never photoshopped and I still have them on my memory card to prove it. The ad also states that a tire was bad and that the wheels had no bends or curbs, which they didn't. To my knowledge this was all that was wrong with the wheels, thats why thats all that was in the ad. Not once did you ask for pictures of the rear of the wheels, and if you had I would have kindly obliged. In the end this really is just a serious case of buyers remorse, and will probably end up with you paying 6-10 times more on lawers and court fees, than it would have cost to just replace the ONE "bad" wheel. Not to mention you snooping around and calling my WIFE causing here much unneeded grief, that if you decide to pursue legal action you will receive a counter-suit for damages done to her via emotional distress.

This is a shitty situation. I've met the OP a few times. He's a really good guy/no homo. I know his female friend alright. we peoples. I've never met the seller. To the damaged wheel tho, I've ridden on wheels with egg shaped holes before and never had a problem. Just to let you know. I agree that the seller should have taken better detailed pics from the get-go, and he should have gave a very detailed for sale thread. (I.E) the stud bore damage. but I can also agree that the buyer should have asked more detailed questions about them, and should have asked for better detailed photos. Especially for anything over $1000. I hope this situations is resolved and both parties come out good.
