I know from experience you need to fully check out a car before buying it. Just because something is there the seller didn't mention doesn't mean he actually knew about it. Take it to a shop and get it checked out. I bought a maxima a while back and the price was so good and it drove fine, just was a bit low on power so i assumed the belts were just slipping as they looked old and worn out.
I ended up needing to get a bunch more work done to it as i didn't check it out in advance. Just learn from your mistakes , take the hit, and don't be a bitch. Get it checked out. It's $50-100 out of your pocket and worth the money
