I get what you were trying to do but sadly I have to agree that those pix are not anything great.

Artistic? Yip.
Have we seen worse? Absolutely!

Do you need a DSLR? Heck no!
Do they take amazing pictures? definitely but it depends who is behind the camera.

I believe there has been better pix posted to prove the worthiness of the modern point 'n shoots.
