Don't get D80, put little bit more money toward D90 and you won't regret. D90 shares a lot of features of D300. It has same sensor as D300, but packs with the lastest technologies with fraction of cost of the D300. Check out the reviews on google. Here is one of them:

I say this not because D90 has D movie mode. I don't care about Live View mode or D movie. I used the own D80, then I switch to D90 and could not be happier. It is far better than D80. Try out both before you decide which one is more suitable for you.
