    It is up to you. Go to Best Buy or Wolf and fondle both and see which one feels better in your hands and which one has the better control layout for you. They are both about the same.

    i have always had canon as far as point and shoots go and i was going to get a canon dslr. my boss shoots with a nikon d50,d80,d200 and a d3 and when i picked up his d80, it fit my hand alot better as far as the shutter release go's. i say go and try some out and then decide. if you lived close to me. i would let you try out my d80.

    I checked the Canon Xsi but it looked really cheap for some reason. I also heard that the liveview feature on it sucks... (I know that the D80 doesn't
    actually have that feature)

    i live in dalton. and for the comments about not buying the d80 over the d90. i never said that, i was just saying what i had. i thought about the d90 and when i opened my wallet i changed my mind lol.
