i agree with the quote but not the picture...if the miata was replaced with a Z,evo, or sti it might make more sense. The Z, evo, and sti are still cheaper than the viper and can be modded to go as fast if not even faster than a viper and numerous other cars for half the price of a viper.
Nowadays you can find a GTS for under 40k... That's 450hp, 12sec 1/4 mile, and .98g on a skid pad. And that's before just dropping a couple grand on a nice S/C.Originally Posted by Driftk1d350z

If it can't offset the Viper's power and corning capabilities (both of which are better than the Miata's) off of braking alone, it is going to have a very tough time staying ahead.
It also could be the Viper owners don't feel like risking their cars against a POS mazda in the corners and are waiting for the straights to pass.
