Get a Sleep Numbers Bed! J/K.

So you're saying it's chronic? Have you been to your MD? Are you willing to participate in clinical drug trials for insomnia? I used to recommend trials to friends that didn't have health coverage. IMO, it's a good way to get free health services.

Im a sleep tech for a sleep clinic here in ga. I highly recommend U get checked for sleep apnea or imnsomnia. just go to ur doctor and ask for a polysomnograph. he should be able to help. I wouldnt recommend using the sleeping pills to much Ive seen many people get dependant on these and then not be able to sleep with out them at all. also check ur diet having u been drinking caffeine or alcohol, these usually can hinder you from having a healthy sleep cycle. It really seems to me like u are having sleep apnea from what ur saying. do you snore alot? do you stop breathing in ur sleep? do u wake up with a headache? these are symptoms of apnea.

head aches all the time... not so much the snoring or not being able to breathe... no health ins... so i can't just go to my doctor... i don't drink alcohol at all.. and not too much caffeine... i used to be able to drink a pot of coffee and go to bed 2 minutes later... so caffiene has never really bothered me....

I hear this statement from people constantly. but caffeine does interupt ur sleep. caffeine it self might not stop u from falling asleep but it will block out the delta stages of sleep wich are very important for the completion of a healthy sleep cycle. the caffeine creates a chemical imbalance wich does not allow a person to actually achieve those last two stages of sleep in turn not allowing ur body to rest properly.

I say go to the gym and do 1 hour of hard core cardio, and come home, lay in bed and watch tv. Works for me.

Yup, thats what I've started doing... Makin' sure I get some exercise during the day, lay down watch a bit of tv, and usually by the time a commercial comes on i pop the glasses off and pass out lol

I always found when I pass out high that I wake up groggy as shit... kinda like a hangover x 2 but without the massive headache. but ya, it'll put you to sleep for sure.
