Mp4, 320x240 resolution 128 bit mp3 encoded audio. or.. when using the program i menioned, you just choose how many KBPS you want the video.. and go from there. if you are using it on only the ipod you can not tell a difference in between the video qualities, if you are using the ipod to display video on a TV as i do on occasion you may want to use something higher..

384 is what i usually use for ipod only..
768 is better for TV viewing but is still slightly grainy.. above that it is as good as regular TV

remember if the source of the video is crap then the out put will not be better if the input is dvd or another good quality video the output is good..

oh and another note when looking for the GP Converter, try and find it in version 032, it seems to work slightly better then the previous versions. it is called GP_Converter032 and is about 3 meg in size.
