How are some anointed when everyone who is of the body of Christ is still a part of the body? Though there may be different vocations or careers, all are called to ministry, regardless of their vocation. Pastors, preachers, deacons, Gentile or Jew, all are equal in the blood and name of Jesus Christ. But those who know more of the Word, those who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior but have done nothing (parable of the talents), will be held at higher accountability for ministry. The new covenant has been made through the blood and it is only through this grace of blood that we would have the hope of an eternal salvation.
Not trying to be argumentative by any means, but simply trying to put forth the understanding that all who would call themselves Christians and have accepted the salvation of Jesus are called to the same ministry. To go out and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
