buttons seem o be getting smaller and its thin im sure the battery life is horrible. looks arent the best to be so new and hyped up
yea heard that the keyboard isnt all that(flat instead of raised), but in order to make the screen so large, making the keyboard flat was the compromise. and actually heard the battery life wasnt all that horrible. and the fact that the battery is removable is a plus.

Eventually they all mess up in some way. I think it's probably because of all the shit they are making phones do now, that it's just too much. So they eventually start acting crazy

my last fone was the voyager.
screen cracked several times, as well as my other friend's voyagers.
it was sound software wise, but the build quality sucked. hinge broke(as well as my friends), screen was peeling off(once again, as well as my friends)
bought the voyager when it firstfirst came out, then after a while i was like wtf? why did i spend 200+ on a phone? a phone is a phone.
with that said iono, i really want the droid, lol.

I compared the phone side by side to my G1. The buttons were about the same size, just closer together. The keys are flat. It is somewhat annoying, but I got used to it. The Droid has only 4 rows of buttons. There's not much space below and above the keyboard. I didn't like the keys all that much.
the battery life is actually supposed to be better than the G1 and I get excellent battery life.
I also compared the Eris. It is just like the MyTouch but better.
The Android operating system is awesome. I love my G1. And I have lifetime warranty on my phone. So fuck it. lol. The only problem i've had is my keys started sticking, but since the keys are flat on the thing, it won't have this problem. Other than, my g1 has been perfect.I'm due for an update as well. the droid, imo, is worth the $200. If you are an existing customer, you can get the Droid for $150 online.

heard this phone freezes a lot and cuts off random and has terrible battery life
guy i work with got his the day it came out....says the battery life tends to get better after a couple full charges....but that the phone is power hungry because of all the programs and what not it runs
after looking at his yesterday i ordered myself one today....haven't had an upgrade in close to 3 years, i usually pay full price for the phone i want to stay out of contracts but i went ahead and sprung for the 2 yr contract this go around...hopefully it lives up to the hype

I just got the Droid last week. It's the shit, period.
a few ppl i work with have this phone..its pretty bad ass. i want one but im not due for an upgrade untill july of 2010..so looks like im gonna rock the voyager for 7 more months. plus to take full advantage of it you gotta have the internet and shit..i canceled all that on my voyager because it was so slow...now we have 3g in middle ga so it may be worth it!
