to add something else, if your rifle/shotgun has a pistol grip you can carry it if you have your GFL. It must openly carried however. Not that i would carry an AR to mcdonalds or anything, just saying you can.

But the results of said action would be entertaining to a fly on the wall.

I can tell you that if I was sitting at that McDonalds and someone walked in with an AR on a sling I'd probably go ahead and get my Sig out and have it under the table.

I got pulled over a few weeks ago with my Sig in the door panel and my AR in the floorboard of the passenger seat with my range bag. Officer looked at it, commented on it being a nice AR, asked if I had any other weapons in the car and I said yes. He asked me if I had a license and I showed him my CCW with my DL and he asked me to slow down and walked off. Didn't seem too bothered by any of it since I obviously wasn't concerned with using them against him. I have my Sig close at hand whenever I'm in the car and unless asked I don't ever mention it to anyone, including officers. The last ticket I got I had to move it to get my insurance card out of the door pocket, never mentioned it was there to the officer and he never asked.
