I grew up with dogs and they are just not my thing. I like to travel and it was always a pain trying to take care of the dog. I know different breed are better for different ppl. And why the sudden hostility towards my girl? She was only saying she would rather have a reptile instead of a dog. Reptiles require a lot of work too, but not nearly as much as dogs. Dogs require a ton of attention and do take a lot more time to care for. She was only stating her preference as to which type of animal she'd rather have. Nothing more than that. To each their own.
