I'm getting a ME degree now, so that should tell you something. With Econ, unless you want to go to grad school and teach, pursue an Economic research position, or go to law school, I wasn't very pleased with the options.Originally Posted by IndianStig

I'm considering hitting up the military to avoid the economy, since I'm not a traditional student and gain security clearances I desire for later in my career.
CHASE ->>> WHAT MATTERS
I graduated with a BFA from SCADAtlanta on the Atlanta College of Art curriculum. I'm still looking for work. The industry SUCKS right now.
Right now Professional Flight Management(Pilot) but I'm thinking about transferring to UGA and try to get into the law program they have. Then go into the military and try to fly still.
Industrial Engineering. Graduating from Georgia Tech in 3 weeks.
just wondering what makes you want to go into the law program? their law school is quite expensive to go to law school then off to the military. i dont know if the military will pay that back off or not but if they do go for it. UGA Law is tough to get into. I was just wondering because its interesting to go from trying to be a pilot to law,just seems like 2 totally different areas.Originally Posted by redrumracer

working on my ASS in Criminal Justice, but plan on quitting school if I get the job at lockheed. If not, I plan on heading to GSU next year to start on an accounting degree.
I am contemplating getting my Juris Doctorate. I am not sure why, but I like the challenge that I know a law degree will pose. Maybe once I hit 30 I will go for it, lol.
Wasn't there some news on Lockheed recently? Something about if government stops production of a certain plan that the Marietta plant would be cut down significantly... (I think thats what I remember reading briefly)Originally Posted by BanginJimmy
Would be awesome if you did get in with Lockheed though. Good luck to ya.
I'm attending Devry University Online and working on my Associates for Web Design and Development. Got my first Associates in Computer Animation... will probably continue on with the CIS program but we'll see if I can find me a job first.
getting a JD is well beyond me. I cannot possibly spend that much time reading law.
Law school is actually ALOT cheaper than becoming a pilot although becoming a pilot is a lot easier. Also it is highly recommended by a lot of current pilots(civilian) to have a degree not concentrated in the aviation industry. Yes UGA is tough to get into but they also have a good ranked law program which would be a plus if I decide not to do the military after I graduate.Originally Posted by LeGeNdaRyLeGeNd
