So me and my girlfriend have been together for a few years now. Things are great and we just got a new apartment. There is a hiccup though. Over the past few weeks she's started getting back into her religion. That's cool and all, but this means no sharing a bed and no sex obviously. I've been cool with this since I respect her decision to do what she things is right. With that in mind, I have had some adult material added to my comp every now and then. This is justifiable, right? I mean, she expressed her displeasure with the thought of me having to watch porn but what's a guy to do?

Also, considering our circumstance we've talked to a couple of religious elders about it. While God may not condemn her for living under the same roof as me, He apparently will not bless her efforts either until the santity of marriage is formed between us. I'm not sure about all the details here since I'm not really into the whole religion thing, but that's the gist of it as far as I know.

Once you've had sex with a person you ARE entered into 'wedlock'. The Bible teaches nothing about rules of marriage ceremonies and rings etc. thats all nonsensical man made tradition. The very act of sex is reserved for 'marriage' Biblically...and the sign that one has entered into marriage in the Biblical sense...is consummating that relation sexually and thus committing to that person. There is no adultery until you seek sex ie. 'marriage' elsewhere...and/or break that commitment...IF the Bible is your/her thing.
The adultery issue is a pesky ones for Christians and they prefer to attach a 'marriage ceremony' into the mix but in reality the ceremony occurs when you 'take a wife"...ie. have sex with her. The only purpose of any outward 'ceremony' is to make this act public to others...which in your case it already is. She's living with you...thats no secret. lol...

This is a typical confusion of what principles are actually taught in that Book...and we have 2000 years of catholic and other nonsensical traditions to thank for that.

I guess my situation is a little different because I am married, but I'm 100% ok with my hubby taking care of himself as long as porn remains exactly what it is... porn.
