I do compounding, IV's, and etc, but I also do contract IT work during the summer. Clinical work is a lot more laid back. I try not to work fulltime during the school year b/c I have no time for it. The last year will be all internship. I think the best Pharm School are on the west coast, but that's just my opinion. Is she getting any job offers now for when she gets licensed? I'm getting some offers. I have a friend working for Walgreens fresh out of Pharm School making $98k+. But both of you guys know its worth it at the end.
ya the tuition is crazy at mercer... as far as intern Egleston pays pretty good:

16$ 1st year
17$ 2nd year
18$ 3rd year
(and all of the overtime you want; 1.5 x pay)

she has been working for kroger for like 4 years i think, and she really like it there so she will probably end up there. her boss at kroger is really well liked and was pharmacist of the year 2004; she wants kate to be their 3rd pharmacist there up at hamilton mill.

i know kroger is starting at $96k+ a year right now, they were paying $100k+ sign on bonus not too long ago for people want to move to savannah. a friend of ours who is in rotations now she got offered $115k to move to chattanooga to work for bilo, & another friend got an offer to buy into a private one that is currently making $500k a year. so i guess the options are defiantely endless. it is a great field to be going into; i'll just be glad when she is done and working

if you ever need any contacts for CVS i have a friend who is a DM for them in the g'nett area.
