Ya she talked to a big wig up in DC about doing research and he told her if you don't do it out of college you never will b/c of the $$$ factor... he said up there they were starting them out making $60k+ a year and retail was $80k+, thats a little bit of a difference.

now have you looked into working for the gov, now that seems like a good job, they start our at $45k(bring home after taxes) a year top level pharmacist make like $80-100+k(bring home after taxes) that is good money. also healthcare is free, and you can prescribe in some locations.

as far as her making more $$$ than me no problem here... all of the female pharmacist my wife works with none of their husbands work . its a tuff life but someone has to do it.
