Best pistol for daily carry ATTN: Julio, Ruiner, etc.

i just picked up a springfield XD-40 subcompact and have been carrying it lately. overall a really nice gun, feels and shoots great. also have a walther P22 which is a lot of fun, but i prefer the XD for carrying.

also, for some of those worried about insane permit wait times, i got mine in exactly 2 weeks in gwinnett.

One of the most confy and carry guns on the planet.

Lol.. dont listen to this noob.. no CCW in GA actually. CCW is mostly a general term, most states have different names or abbreviation... In GA Is called a GFL.

YOU CANNOT CARRY A LOADED GUN ON YOU WITHOUT A GFL in GA.. dont believe me.. try it... HAHAHAHA what a fool. Visible or NOT.

With a GFL you can carry either concealed or OPEN CARRY. YES , GA is a OC (open carry) state.

My bad I read it wrong it says you can carry a rifle or a shotgun without a license but no handgun.

I've actually been told on numerous occasions by numerous different law enforcement, from police to trooper, that you CAN carry a weapon without the license as long as it is in plain view. It has to be in a holster and completely visible. But I never did it. Best thing is to wait until your license gets back. Later, QD.

I just went up to Probate court in Gwinnett and they even have a different way of re-newing the license. Now, you have to do the whole application process over again. You have to fill out the application, get fingerprinted, and pay the fees.....and WAIT. Yep, you have to wait just like the first time. It should be no biggie though. They gave me a temp. 90 day one while waiting on my perm one to come back. No biggie.

That's how it has been for years, Jaime. Except for the 90 day permit. I'm very surprised to see that they do that. Seems ironic that they would issue a temp license until your background check came back. What if it comes back negative? I know they can just cancel the temp, but why issue it in the first place? dont believe that. Cops are the biggest liars when you ask them about laws.. honestly I think a large % of them do not know the laws.. Thats why they have to call **** in.

Like I said, I never did it because it seemed to gray area like. Better leave it in the car or at home than to take any chances. But I have my GFL, so it doesn't matter, lolol. Later, QD.

Hey I would get the Taurus great gun and forms to fit ur hand (grip) This is the gun I would carry, byw it offers great locking (security). Was gun of the year in 05.

UPDATE...

after shooting some of the more popular guns, I LOVED the PT24/7. I put a .40 w/ 15rd clip and stainless slide on layaway today.
