True. Of course racism is still around. I imagine it will take another few decades before it starts to fade away. The only thing you can do for the time being is just ignore it.

unfortunately it will always exists. i'm gonna try my hardest to make sure my son doesn't grow up to be like that. i was listening to the radio one morning - 107.9 to be exact and i was VERY puzzled by what they said. One of the guys said by definition a black person cannot be racist because they are of the minority. He said for example, if a black person was to go over to japan he couldn't be racist because there are more japanese people than black people. This made absolutely no sense to me. I figure if you hate a certain race -you are racist against them. period. no matter how outnumbered you may be.

Racism was made to classify people. Technically there is no race. We all have the exact same DNA, thus we are all HUMAN.
Race was invented to divide and conquer. Hell you even have people hating their own race and others in their own race do to certain features.

Did anyone here watch "Hotel Rwanda". A great example of how creating racism divides and conquers people.

Yes it could cause an argument here/there, but nothing significant. We are all adults (or atleast should be) we can handle this subject and if anything negative comes out, Im sure it will be talked out as adults(no! knives or guns you fuckers..haha).. I honestly think that may be one of these two:
1. Its just a preference.
2. This is a matter of race. My last g/f was asian, and her family disapproved of her dating black guys for some reason. However, they were very welcoming to me (white).

Well, put it this way. With all the interacial marriages and children being born of mixed heritages, the entire human race will eventually have one skin color. The only thing you can do until then is make sure that you yourself hold nothing against people of other skin colors and make sure that if you have children to teach them to do the same.
