No Im not a Vet.. Just a registered Tech.. and I answered this is the other thread as well.. It is transmitted from saliva to blood.. thats why they worry so much when you get bit.. and since I was holding the cats neck (and cats do groom themselves.. with saliva) and I had open cuts.. I still run a risk..
