Chritsmas is related to the "birth of Christ". the "Mall" is different. it came from the idea that the Maji(sp) brought the "Baby Jesus"(in Ricky Bobby voice) gifts. etc. etc.
Christmas= 1 thing. Santa & the Mall= another. @ least that's the way it was intended to be.
