    Default Is it wrong?

    ..................................to buy gifts for yourself?

    such as special occassions such as holidays/birthdays?

    I just had this issue with the woman and she claims that this is a "selfish" thing to do and only "selfless" people buy gifts for themselves..

    my thing is, when you get older, hell, at any age, you want to treat yourself to something you want and during the specific holiday you buy it..

    for instance, for my birthday this year, I picked up an MDA..

    for xmas I'm buying myself a WII..

    is this weird? b/c I know people do this shit and buy things for themselves..

    and holidays, meaning, XMAS/BDAYs

    Hell, my dad went out and bought himself a new car on my mom's birthday several years ago. lol Just do what you want with it, I mean you earned the money so you should be able to spend it.

    NO... i always love it when people ask me "what are you getting your wife for xmas"... um nothing i respond. they look at me like we have xmas all year round if i want something i buy it. xmas is for little kids its pointless to give into the madness of shopping for a single season... i shop all year round.

    b/c it is a Pagan holiday that was converted to a christian holiday to CHRISTIANIZE the population. anyone who knows anything about roman history should know this.

    i would hope people would base their BELIEFS on factual history. I guess Santa Clause is a mystical christian angel who comes down all of the chimeneys of good boys and girls and leaves them presents for JESUS'S Bday
