Nobody (the kid nor the family) stepped up to check on me in my wreck. That just goes to show that very very very shitty people still exist as well.

I couldnt agree more, even in court the lady who hit me never apologized or asked if I was ok.. I know this sort of accident is probably mentaly hard on both parties, so its very cool he is going to handle this in person.
