I've been at Grady for the past 7 hours waiting to hear the extent of Matt's injuries. He's pretty banged up but has been coherant and hopefully nothing he can't recover from soon! Upon x-rays and scanning his head injuries seem to be superficial and is just requiring staples. He has a broken rib, a broken finger, and possibly a hairline fracture in his back. At this time he's going into a 4-5+ hour surgery on both legs for installation of rods & pins in each.

On the lighter side...since Matt is in the process of moving in with me he'll be happy to know I am now accepting applications for hot nurses just for him!!
