A car carrier arrived at work today (BMW DRIVERS VERSUS IA...DRAMA FTW!)

*edit* it gets interesting around page 5 or so when the bmw drivers decide to voice their opinion....

also some bimmerforums tards decide to join our humble little forum to mock us (we are a local ricer board)...

The all new 2007 306hp Infiniti G35S Sedan. This one is just for display purposes (i.e. it's the real car but not for sale). The outside is going to have to grow on me, but the interior and features (including a 9 gig internal harddrive for the stereo with Ipod hookup and port to plug a Compact Flash memory card into) made me happy in pants. It hasn't even been PDIed or washed or anything yet.

The front end and alot of the interior does resemble the current bodystyle M35-M45 a bit, which isn't a bad thing IMO. Actually, looking at it, the engine cover looks alot like the engine cover on the M's LOL!

I'll try and get pics of the undercarriage when they put it back on a rack to PDI it. I think the G35S (Sport, which is what this one is) has HICAS active rear steer too.

yea, front end, interior underhood all resemble the m.
the cars are pretty effing tough too.
i put one in a ditch at 60 (tire blew) hit a drainage culvert,got airborn, cleared a driveway, slid through a mailbox and inbetween 2 telephone poles. 35,000 in repairs its back on the road good as new. bent the engine cradle, got the fedners, etc left front apron.

best part, it was valentines day night and i had court in the morning

theres your answer. BMW is STILL more money, an the G35 makes more power and is faster. I wonder what the skid pad tests say

Which dealership is this located at? I saw one of these hanging off the back of a transport truck as I drove past a dealership yesterday.... well, not hanging but it's rear end was at the back like it was about to be unloaded and the "S" really caught my eye and made me wonder.

I work at Nalley Infiniti in Marietta. I would guess that all Infiniti dealerships are getting at least one to show off, but I don't know if any of the other dealerships have gotten one yet or not.

Buford, I haven't heard anything about a 6 speed version yet, but I can't say that I have been asking sales about it either. Hell, I didn't even know we had one coming until it was being unloaded haha!

Also, yesterday it seems that we got another one. This one is silver. Other than the color, I don't see any difference in the two, though. Both are S models, both are automatics, both only have "Sample" window stickers and are not for sale. We usually throw a "release" party for our customers when a new bodystyle is released, so maybe we got two for that. Or maybe every dealership is getting two, but it seems silly to have two display cars that are the same except for the color.
