ACTUALLY, it is the 2.4L 'world' engine, which, AFAIK, is made in Brazil on the same assembly line as the Mini engine, and they share the block.

Besides? Who the fuck cares? It's my daily. My friend was a salesman at Jeep, and my grandfatehr retired from New Venture Gear. I got a killer deal on it. Deal wiht it. Christ.

GEMA has five factories worldwide; two in Dundee, Michigan, United States, two in South Korea and one in Shiga, Japan. Production began in 2005 and will continue at least through 2012 with an annual capacity of approximately two million engines; each plant will be capable of producing 420,000. Twenty different automobile models from the three companies will use the engines. Each manufacturer has configured their variants of the basic GEMA design differently, so consumers will likely experience different power, fuel efficiency, and "feel" from each manufacturer.
The plan to pool resources and share risks was dealt a serious setback when DaimlerChrysler announced in 2004 that it would sell its stake in financially-troubled Mitsubishi. Mitsubishi subsequently announced that it would scale back GEMA engine purchase projections, which may affect the expected economies of scale.

My friend has a 370+whp turbo gixer1000 he's only driven it a couple of hours, since its too much for him. Its been sitting in his garage for the part 1.5years. If he wants to get on it again, he would probably race you in a strait line, but I know he wont go on a track.

He's also got one of those 600rr's I could borrow, if yall still go to the mountains this time of year I would want to go. Though I would probably slow yall down. But if sometime yall want to keep it mild to semi-fast, let me know.

I remember walking to my bus stop once and seeing the kid up the street slide down the hill on his bike because of cold tires.

And turns out this blue one I took pics of wasn't ours. It was supposed to go over to Roswell Infiniti. Aparently when they dropped the Silver one off we have now they picked the blue one back up. I'm not sure how one would confuse that....maybe the truck driver was color blind?
Sorry, didn’t mean to make that sound derogatory. I was just reminiscing when I went from Sporty Accordy (suspended pedals) to my friend’s ’95 325i (floor mounted) and it was weird for a few minutes.

Daimler's son Paul rode this motorcycle from Cannstatt to Unterturkheim and back on November 10, 1885. Daimler used a hot tube ignition system to get his engine speed up to 1000 rpm The previous August, Karl Benz had already driven his light, tubular framed tricycle around the Neckar valley, only 60 miles from where Daimler lived and worked. They never met. Frau Berta Benz took Karl's car one night and made the first long car trip to see her mother, traveling 62 miles from Mannheim to Pforzheim in 1888."

And for what ti's worth, I'd MUCH rather buy a car from a company that can makage to keep airplanes flying in the air vs. a country who has sub-par heavy industries.

You people really are a bunch of jagoffs. I"m going to bed. I'm done with this retarted arguement. No matter how much you are proven wrong, you refuse to hear or understand logic. Have fun with your POS jap cars. I hope I hit you in my German-engineered tank someday and ruin your poor lil tin cans while I drive off to my destination un-scathed. :idb:

And incase you didn't know - An E36 M3 will slightly pull away from a bone stock STi on the highway, and the STi will get WALKED by an E46 on the highway. Will get pwned by both on the track (driver depending, of course)

    /thread
so your going to sit there and say that my "generalization" was wrong?
thats one company that made the first car but what we are talking about here is BMW, and i hope you know that they made planes pre-WW2. i was just saying european as a generalization because saab was the same way too.

and who gives a fuck what you think, you are dumb enough to pay for an overpriced car, and you call us stupid?
