not really - my mirrors are set so that they cover the lane on either side of me - if I want to see the side of my car I either A) have to put my head by the window to see my drivers side or B) lean over to see the passenger side.
Its what Drivers Ed teacher taught me. Basically with that setup, you see the car in your rear view mirror - when he's halfway out of your rear view, he's at least halfway in one of your side mirrors, once he's halfway out of your side... well you can see them right beside youno blind spots
