.yeah maybe I stopped...but there are others who will do it.
I dont recall seeing where we all proclaimed we never did it... but, a lot of us learned burnout + crowd = pissed people and police. Yes, i did it ONCE.... and never did it again. But...yes, people will do it.. and majority of the people around get pissed.

Hell.. i have a nice big pic in my sig of me burning ut... but where it was perfectly legal and wanted

I'm still trying to figure out how to do an actual burnout and create smoke from the tires on my Lancer... everytime I try, the car just launches forward... and we all know that's no where near as fun as smoking tires... -.-

If burning out is immature as you guy say. There's a whole list and everyone has done at least one or two. EVERYONE has...fact of life. You either stop doing it and move on or do it the rest of your life. Let's see one burnout...didn't like it...it was fun, but there's other things that I like more. Like autox. Nopi was the first time I really had a taste of it. Even though it was a circle with a few turns...gave everyone a sense of autox. And I love it. I don't get why everyone is so bent over a burnout. Should know by now its NOT going to stop...yeah maybe I stopped...but there are others who will do it.

I give up with this kid!

Just take one of the drive shafts out....preferbly(spl) the rear one, that way you have some torque steer, and would look cooler while doing it!

OK I've been saying I'm done with it, because I really find no point in it other than warming up tires at a drag strip. I wanted to see...I saw and was disappointed. OMG I made smoke....ooooo YO FOO that shit is off the hook yo! O_o.

Yeah maybe I should've done it somewhere else, did it at NOPI. Mistake cost me a couple hundred miles in tire. For what...cheers? Sorry not really enough of a rush to get the juices going.

To the civic driver...you probably know what you have and how to drive it. This kid looked 16 and driving someone's elses work car. But I'm those who finds more pride in doing it theirself. And thumbs up for the powertrain mods.

Your best post yet! Nopi, is gay so I dont care if you did it there, just like what was stated already "Its not gonna close it down" but try not to do it at these smaller parking lot events/meets, cause it really can screw it up for the rest of us....you know? There is a reason to do it at the track, and if you wanna do it away from the public the get out there and tear it up.....shoot I do that, when no one is around!

My S10 did a better burnout. Not meaning more smoke or anything. It just sat there and roasted the single tire.

Yeah I love the ECO, yet I wanted to turbo it but with a 10:1 ratio. For now I'll stick with nitrous. I'm already fully bolted so that's out of question...still have yet to find any pulleys. Found some for the 2200 but not the ECO. Very impressed by your numbers...what kind of shot are you running?

Well some of us do not have that much of a budget as others. I'd like to see some of those cars of yours. Especially that SR20.

Ehhh, I ran a 100shot on stock internals for shits and giggles. Everyone said the 220 couldn't take it but whatever. I have a spare one sitting here we got out of a wrecked 4dr. I'm saving to buy Hptuners so I can finally run the 75 and 100 when needed and not have to worry about blowing a piston. I have the rods and new pistons in the spare motor already but I'm waiting on a valvetrain option to run higher rpms since you can edit those variables in Hpt.

Cool...I am actually shocked there's aftermarket parts for the head for these cars(ECO). Then again it was introduced by Saturn back in 2000.

I had the 2200 in my S10 and it sucked(engine wise I mean I had problems from the 2200). The one in my Cavalier(not my Cobalt) is decent...other than being picky.
