The scene is dead because of an ever-growing problem with maturity and kiddies with too much money on their hands. More and more KIDS these days are getting money to "pimp" out their rides (be it from parents, part-time jobs, etc). The crew is getting younger and younger. Most of the kids don't even have a clue about their cars, either. They just want to be in the show and get the attention. They aren't serious, they act like kids because they are kids. I'm talking about 15, 16, 17 yr olds, etc.
I'm a 30 year old man. Honestly, I have NO interest and going to a show and hanging out with immature fucks who talk trash, act their age, and basically show the "car intelligence" of a hamster.
I have a feeling that I speak for a good many people that are my age give or take a few years. When you don't have "older" people in these shows, you lose the sponsors, you lose the models, and the overall quality goes down.
Everyone on IA.com can sit and agree that the recent generations of kids has been going downhill. Now you are seeing that result of that pattern... It is affecting multiple aspects of life. It's a downward spiral...
