i understood what you meant but the point is you don't illegally go to a country then try to become a citizen legally... you come over legally and stay w/ permission by the country. the problem is the majority come here to have children so they can stay or work to send $ home to families... that isn't helping us nor is it contributing to our country.

true, the $$$ some that do pay taxes(and I guarntee it's the lesser) send the majority of their $$$ back to Mexico. that $$ not being spend here so we're not benefiting in the sales tax and the potential people they may hire. ie: eating @restaurants & other services.

no doubt on a state level alone we are missing out on billions of dollars i couldn't even imagine the amount on a nationial level. flat tax may be the only way to make this work. keep what you make and pay higher tax on everything purchased

i love the flat tax, or also known as the fair tax, proposition i hate the IRS. personally i think we should get rid of welfare and then the fair tax can be a lower persentage. make the people work. and before anyone wants to argue you cant support a family of 3 on minimum wage, dont try it, ive already proven a teacher wrong about that, i dont need to do it agian.

it is good, but umm you can't support a family of 3 w/o gov't aid. the best bet is don't reproduce until you can support yourself

actually, you can. you just wont be living in gwinnett in a 200k and up house. trust me its possible. its not a glamerous life, but its possible. not to mention, if your that strapped for cash, manuel labor is always available at alot more than minimum wage.

what you got to be kidding me ? i would love to see you prove this... did you read what i posed "w/o gov't aid"? not going to happen. minimum wage = 10712 a year before taxes. now 824 a month before taxes... tell me how you and 3 others plan to live on that amount in america?

houseing alone will run you 3/4 of that? like i said not going to happen w/o gov't aid.

research it please. im not being an ass but please research it. while they do send money back to Mexico, they have to eat. they have to sleep. thats money into the economy. there are other taxes besides income. and i promise you, there are very few jobs (read jobs as in markets ie construction, dish washing) that can get away with paying them in cash. even construction workers pay taxes that are paid in cash. its a special tax you pay at the end of the year for doing contracting jobs. if the company doesnt report who tey paid and what they paid them, they will get fined etc. the IRS isnt as stupid as i like to believe, they know a contracter cant build 1000 240,000 doller homes with only a supervisor and a secretary.

actually you can pay in cash but even if it is by check they aren't paying federal/state taxes... that is big $$$, then at the same time they use gov't funded projects. you can get around this using contracted labor. this happens all of the time why do you think alot of the laws going into place are affecting the employers

I am in the Construction industry(commercial) and most of the General Contractors pay the "illegals" as private contractors. so all the GC does is pay the guys and at the end of the year hand them a 10-90 and was their hands of the whole thing. taxes paid? not likely
