    no torque this and no torque that, wow, honda's dont have torque big deal, i have had three honda's and have raced and beet cars with twice as much torque as me so what. i think i have seen just as many riced out v6 mustangs as i have civics. yes there is a lot of slow ass riced out honda's, but at the same time there are some very respectable well put together honda's that are fast/quick, and they didnt spend that much money making them fast. so i have honda love

    Still do have a Spec. And Nissan variable timing is not like Honda's. Nissans is FULL TIME, not on/off at certain RPMs like Toyota and Honda. Personally even though HONDA created variable timing (thank you 1989 Acura Integra), I like Toyota's rendition better.

    That is not what you hear/feel at 5k. @ 5k (actually 4900) you hear the 2nd intake runners opening up. It's a plus IN ADDITION to the CVTC. (Continuously Variable Timing Control).

    NOTE: Nissans system electronically measures throttle position, vehicle speed and engine rpm, then adjusts the moment each valve breathes in. And it does this throughout the power band - from engine idel to that first boost off the line to when you approach redline.
